This has been approved by me landlord. I'm going to be building a shed in my backyard for a black and white darkroom. Maybe for color as well. I just threw that idea out to him and he approved of it so as of currently I'm in the planning staged. This will be great for My Monochrome Adventure project and for my portraits. I could just print them as soon as I'm done shooting basically. No more waiting for school to come around to use their lab or looking for a cheap darkroom to use.

This is going to take some time and money but for me, it'll be worth it. Can't wait for it to be done.

Update: As of right now I don't have a steady income so this project is on hold. I'll pick this back up when I make more money.

To start off this blog I'm starting is a little history on my current project called My Monochrome Adventure.

I remember back in 2004 I was walking to my mom's work after school with my camera when I saw this flower (picture on the left). I was thinking that this would be a great picture but I only had Kodak T-Max 3200 film in my camera. Because of that I thought that would be a horrible picture but I took it anyway. I never bothered looking at or making a print because of that reason but about 3 years later after taking it, I decided to scan the negative. To my actual surprise I really enjoyed picture and went to print it in a wet darkroom. After discovering that I really like 3200 speed film on nature I took the other picture (on the right) while walk around my neighborhood with the same film. Since then I really haven't shot black and white film until now.

Since I started shooting black and white film again, I decided to shoot nature with 3200 speed film again and now the rest is history.
