Tabula Rasa is a conceptual fine art project that investigates human agency and the psychological process of self-creation. Drawing on the philosophical concept of the blank slate, the work treats the human experience as an unwritten canvas upon which identity is actively forged through intentional action, choice, and necessary struggle. Rather than viewing who we are as a predetermined state, this project approaches selfhood through the lens of individual potential, examining the drive to transform thought into reality and construct a meaningful narrative from life’s open canvas.

Across minimalist, performative compositions, hands serve as symbolic instruments of action, communication, and emotional intent. They illustrate how we grasp opportunities, navigate critical crossroads, and lay the foundations of our own character.

Informed by principles of structure, restraint, and deliberate placement, Tabula Rasa reflects on the lifelong, iterative journey of discovering inner potential.
